Classroom Lessons 2015/2016

I provide social/emotional based lessons in each of the classes that I work with once per 10 day cycle. Please see below for a brief outline of what will be covered in each grade level. ** All classes are currently completing their final closure activity for the year that involves making a classroom memory book**

Kg1

Kg1 classroom lessons will take place once per 10-day rotation. We will cover a variety of topics with more than one lesson per subject. All lessons are developmentally appropriate and allow students the opportunity to build social and emotional skills that may help them avoid or deal with future issues.

• Making good choices
• Correcting a poor choice
• Appreciating diversity
• Making friends
• Recognizing and managing our emotions appropriately
• Stranger safety/personal safety

All lessons are developmentally appropriate and allow students the opportunity to build social and emotional skills that may help them avoid or deal with future issues.
