I hope you had a lovely two weeks and are happy to be back. Holidays are fantastic and no one loves traveling more than I do, but there is definitely something to be said about coming home and settling back into your routine and schedule, especially when you have young children.
The new year is a time for resolutions and promising to be better, healthier, more focused, more efficient...etc. I think it should also be a time of thankfulness.A time to be thankful for all the things, big and small, that we have. A time to reflect on how lucky we are, even when faced with adversity. We are always striving to be better and have more that we forget to appreciate what we already are blessed with. Count your blessings and may 2014 provide even more to be thankful for.
And on another note...be sure to look through the January issue of the counseling newsletter as well as any personal wellness and parenting events taking place in January.
Have a lovely three day weekend!
